Augusta Georgia Accident Attorney – Colorado Student Suing Boulder County for Car Accident

A University of Colorado student claims she’s suffered memory loss and permanent brain damage because a sheriff’s deputy rear-ended her car and she wants Boulder County to pay her $150,000 in damages.

The Boulder County Sheriff’s deputy was ticketed for careless driving in the 2006 accident that 19-year-old Alex Eason says left her injured. She was a passenger in a Subaru that was stopped at a traffic light when the deputy struck it from behind.

The attorney representing the county, Andrew McDonald, acknowledged the deputy was at fault and says negotiations in the case are continuing.

The lawsuit was filed in Boulder County District Court. It names the deputy and the county commissioners.
